Request Support Task

Before making a support request please make sure you have checked the below details.  This will help us provide the most efficient and prompt support. 

Copy

Copywriting is a very specific skill set.  Whilst we do provide a copy templates and guidance.  Bespoke content for your website is beyond the scope of most support requests. Please provide content and copy for any part of your request.  


All the copy & content for your website or emails will need to be provided in an easy to import format, ideally a google doc. 

Images

If any tasks require images or graphics please make sure you provide the images and ensure that you have the right to use these images.  


If any images need to be edited, please provide very clear instructions as to how these need to be edited.  


(Some graphics tasks may be out of the scope of our standard support plan.  If this is the case we will inform you of any issues.) 


*It is important that any images we use on your website must be owned by you and not subject to any copyright.  If you are using stock images you must make sure you have the authorisation to use them.

Clear Concise Communication

As far as possible we will rely on 2 communication channels email & Whatsapp.  Our team may be busy finishing off another project and will get to your tasks as soon as possible.  We aim to review all tasks within one working day and resolve most requests within 2 business days, occasionally some tasks may take longer based on the complexity of the task.  

  1. Email.  As much as possible we like to keep all communication through our support@internetfitpro.com support desk.  This is accessible to the whole team and allows members of the team to easily review previous messages.  
  2. Your google drive folder.  You have a google drive folder shared with you.  We prefer to create a document to include tasks that are a little more complex in nature.  This allows you to see more clearly feedback and provide more instruction to aid us in completing your tasks effectively.  
  3. Stay concise.  One of the most challenging aspects of helping people with support is trying to keep all communication in one place and reduce how many messages are sent.  We always prefer 1 email to 3 or more.  If we are using a google doc, please add notes, comments to help provide clarity and let us know you have updated the document.    
 

Provide Information

So we can work as efficiently and as accurately as possible on any project, we like to make sure we have as much information as possible about a task.

There are a couple of ways to ensure that we understand as well as possible what you require:

  • URL’s please include the address (from your internet browser) of the webpage you are referring too.  
  • Images.  If it is helpful to include a screenshot of the area that you are referring to or to add clarity on something we welcome images.  
  • Diagrams.  Sometimes a quick hand-drawn diagram can help describe a point in far more detail and add a lot of clarity.  
  • Video.  Occasionally it is helpful to have a video to document a process or something that is happening in case we can’t replicate the issue.  

Whilst we strive to focus on small details and every element of a support task, there are sometimes when it is necessary to work through a couple of iterations of something to get it right.  We ask for your patience on these.  The clearer and more detailed communication the easier it is to get to a satisfactory result.
