Granting Agency Access to Facebook and Instagram Accounts

Introduction

This document provides step-by-step instructions for granting Accelerate Website Agency access to your Facebook and Instagram accounts, as well as associated datasets. This access allows us to manage and optimise your ad campaigns effectively.

Prerequisites

  • You must have a Facebook Business Manager account.
  • Ensure you have administrative access to your Facebook Page, Instagram account, and datasets.

Step 1: Add Our Agency to Your Facebook Business Manager

  1. Go to your Facebook Business Manager: business.facebook.com.
  2. Click on ‘Business Settings’ from the top right menu.
  3. Under the ‘Users’ section, select ‘Partners’.
  4. Click on the ‘+ Add’ button.
  5. Select ‘Give a partner access to your assets’.
  6. Enter our agency’s Business Manager ID: 913201518690944.
  7. Click ‘Next’.

Step 2: Assign Access to Facebook Page

  1. In the same ‘Business Settings’, under ‘Accounts’, select ‘Pages’.
  2. Choose the Page you want to grant us access to.
  3. Click ‘Add Partners’ by using the partner’s Business Manager ID.
  4. Enter our agency’s Business Manager ID: 913201518690944 again.
  5. Assign us as ‘Admin’ so we can manage the page effectively.
  6. Click ‘Save Changes’.

Step 3: Assign Access to Instagram Account

  1. In ‘Business Settings’, under ‘Accounts’, select ‘Instagram Accounts’.
  2. Choose the Instagram account you want to grant us access to.
  3. Click ‘Add Partners’ and enter our agency’s Business Manager ID: 913201518690944.
  4. Assign us a role that allows us to manage the account.
  5. Click ‘Save Changes’.

Step 4: Provide Access to Datasets

  1. Navigate to ‘Data Sources’ and then select ‘Catalogs’ or ‘Pixels’, depending on the type of data you wish to share.
  2. Select the specific dataset you want to share.
  3. Click ‘Add Partners’ and enter our agency’s Business Manager ID: 913201518690944.
  4. Choose the appropriate level of access (we recommend ‘Admin’ for full functionality).
  5. Click ‘Save Changes’.
